secondary profession for warriors
there are some threads on secondary-profession pick advice, but none for warriors. so, i started my first warrior in nightfall and i'm lvl 5 now. which secondary should i take ?
my first choice is ranger, i think that a pet can help during low levels. i also like [antidote signet] alot. second option is, of course, a monk.
what do you think and why ?
thanx,
shaygo

/E for [shock] and conjures (Big numbers) <-- my personal favorite
/R for [antidote signet]
/mo for [mending touch]
/p for [enduring harmony] (for d-slash spam)

dont be stuck on choose a 2nd profession, cuz you can always change it later. For general PvE, I only like 2 builds, W/D Endurance Scythe and W/P D-Slash.

I thought a pet would be fun on a warrior also, and it certainly is, but you get to level 20 areas and the pet dies really fast. so you would basically be wasting two spots on your bar for the pet and to keep your pet alive so be careful getting into pugs.

Uh, the sticky thread at the top has a paragraph for each secondary. So I'd take a look at that one.
Keekles pretty much covered the ones you should actually consider, though.

Not to mention that having the pet die wipes all adrenaline.
One that Keekles did miss was /N for Plague Touch. Same idea as the /R and /Mo, really, but some people do use it for comboes - preceding with Headbutt to put the Dazed condition on your target, for instance.

I am for necro as warriors secondary. Not only the plague touch but also gaze of contempt can be useful for a warrior.
For some builds also ele is important not only for obsidian tank but for enchants increasing damage when you use weapon with certain ele damage (such enchants like conjure flame). I think w/e are quite popular in pvp nowadays.

Tanking is not important. Tanking is bad. Your job is to rip stuff apart in melee, not to stand there and hug yourself. Besides, it's a lot more fun.

Choosing a secondary for Warrior can be different than other classes. The warrior has only two pips of energy regeneration and 20 base energy. This means that running a lot of spells or healing will be very hard on your energy. Generally, you should stick with your own warrior's abilities and maybe go into another class for only a few select skills that may help you kill faster.
Here are a few:
[Shock]
[Plague Touch]
Another option for your secondary is using your secondary class's weapon and combining it with Tactics or Strength. These classes may be Assassin, Paragon, or Dervish.
Going ranger is not recommended as pets, although cute companions, use up energy that a warrior can't keep up with and keeping charm on your bar might be better for some other skill. Using the bow may be hard because of the many high costing skills that a ranger has expertise to deal with.
Read the sticky .
